ISLAMABAD, Jan 22: As many as 25 members of the 100-seat Senate have decided to become party in the Supreme Court case on the issue of Reko Diq copper-gold mines of Balochistan.
Former federal minister Senator Azam Khan Swati along with 24 other senators would file a petition to become a party in the Reko Diq case being heard by the Supreme Court.
Talking to journalists here on Saturday, Mr Swati said the foreign consortium namely TCC has failed to prepare complete feasibility in the stipulated time as well as its activity remained confined to mere 5-6km while the deposits were available in around 8,000km area. He added that Pakistan can use services of the same scientists and manpower who gave Pakistan the nuclear technology.
