  2. DHA Lahore “Plot for Sale 2016” ballot held successfully at DHA Auditorium Sector R Phase 2 DHA Lahore. Ballot was quite sharp clean in presence of 100s of people. This time DHA Lahore take initiative to make this ballot more transparent and clear then ever.

    For each category there were 3 ballots carried out, after printing of each ballot, one ballot is selected by a person from visitors for each category. I have witness my self for this way of transparent ballot. Ballot results will be online tomorrow. If you want to know your ballot result you can SMS or Whatsapp your CNIC # & Plot # or Plot Code at following number:

    It says in developed block Phase 1 – 6 it mean dha is offering developed plots. can we get possession on down payment and start construction and pay installments as per schedule.Plz answer.

        we Submitted 2 applications in commercial category and unable to paid complete dues.
        trying to get short term benefit but it is quite surprising that the plot will be unsaleable or transferable without clearance of complete dues.
        it mean we lost our 50% payment.

      • Dear Ayaz Bhai,

        The situation you describe it can be the worst one. But because these plots are fully developed and ready for construction so there will be a lot of buyer in market for a nominal profit and they will pay all the dues and get transfer. I dont think this so that you are gona loose if you will success full applicant. Hope for the best 🙂

    Hi,
    I am planning to apply for commercial in upcoming DHA installment option. Please advise if phase 3 XX 12/1 B is a good option. Also what is its area, it looks it is more than 2 marla. Last question, at least how many applications should I put to maximize my chances of getting this plot.

    Is 3XX B18 – 2Marla also a good option?

    • Sir you can apply 1 application for 1 plot. But you can apply for as many plots you want.

      Recommended options are already given at website. But it does not mean that other are not good. XX commercial is also recommended.

      There is no option for applying online. Overseas Pakistanis can download form and sign it and send it to their relative in Pakistan. They can go to any Askari Bank branch and make payment in cash or through pay order. In case of pay order it must be in favor of DHA Lahore Ballot 2016. Dont forget to attach 2 pictures and copy of CNIC or NICOP. Dont wait for last dates, your application must be submitted as soon as possible to avoid any misfortune. Fill the form in Capital Letters. Print form on a single page front back printing.

      DHA will not accept:

      17. Notes:

      a. Incomplete / Damaged forms will not be accepted.
      b. Application forms without payment of specified amount will not be entertained.
      c. Forms may also be downloaded from http://www.dhalahore.org or photocopied on a DO paper (legal size paper 8.5” x 13.0”).

    • Dear Nadir Bhai,

      Submit as many applications you can submit or you can apply for all 224 residential plots & 92 commercial plots if you have enough money to handle this all.

      Keep in mind that it is plot specific ballot, your ballot will among those people who applied for the same plot. So probability ratio is very low less then 1%.

      For each plot there will be only one successful applicant. But if you are going to avail chance for a huge number of plots, then dont do that. An amount of Rs. 10,000 for 10 Marla Residential and 2/4 Marla commercial will be deducted and Rs. 20,000 for 2 Kanal, Rs. 15,000 for 1 Kanal and Rs. 25,000 will be deducted for 8 Marla application. Only submit applications which you can handle later or can bear loss.

    DHA Lahore 2 Marla Commercial Plots on Installment

    Maximum plots offered on installment in commercial category is 2 Marla commercial plot. There are actually called Sector Shops. First of all construction height is limited in these Sector Shops. Secondly these are located in Sector C not in CCA (Central Commercial Areas).

    If you are going for Sector Shops then best choice will be as under:

    What does it mean. If some one want to apply for 10 marla plot what he do leave this field blank or he has to mention number

    • Dear Khurram Bhai,

      Option number 1 & 2 mean that you have to be specific with plots code and plot # that for which plot you are applying for. It mean that you have to select a specific location. Now if you want to get chance for more then one location you have to submit new form for each location and have to pay processing fee for each plot. It mean you opportunity for selective location ballot only. If you will not successful for that specific location, DHA will not force you via ballot to get any other location. Your ballot will be done with specific location among other people who applied for the same location.

      How ever I need to confirm it from DHA that if some want to avail chance to include in ballot of all 10 Marla plots category then he might can leave option 1 & 2 blank. But it look like that you have to fill the option 1 & 2.

      Thats why DHA asking on term 8-a:

      8. I certify that:-

      a. The amount has been deposited at my will, it may remain with the Authority till the time of refund of the amount, free of interest / charges etc. If unsuccessful I further confirm that I shall not claim allotment of plot or compensation in lieu thereof.

    • Dear Khurram Bhai,

      I have confirm from DHA that you have to choose plot number and apply for specific plots. If you want to apply more then one plot you have to submit application for each plot separately and have to make deposit for each plot separately.

      DHA also confirm that transfer will be open after 25% down payment and new buyer has to pay the full payment to get transfer of plot. For example if some paid 25% of down payment to confirm booking and then want to sell. The buy have to pay the reaming 75% lump sum for transfer. Or at what ever stage original allottee will be selling the plot buyer have to made the all remaining payment at the time of transfer what so ever it is.

      However original allottee can avail 5% discount on lump sum payment

      It depend on the total price of the plot. Please read term number 12 at booking form 2nd page:

      12- The allotment of plot to successful applicants will be subject to payment of 25% of total price to be paid within 30 days of ballot result announced on DHA Website failing which allotment shall be treated as cancelled and 50% of down payment will be forfeited.

      too much processing fee, limited number of plots. only 224 residential plots and 92 commercial plots. I think there will be 100s of thousands applications so success ratio will be less then 1%

      • Ejaz bhai due to huge number of applications and limited number of plots the probability of success is less then 1%. There are total 224 Residential & 92 Commercial plots, if only 10,000 applications submitted still the success ratio is near 3%.

        I will recommend to apply for 10 Marla residential & 2 Marla commercial due to highest in numbers (if some has to apply :))

        Rather having same processing fee for all categories, I thinks it is a good approach to set different processing fees for different categories. Higher the processing fee low application submissions and success probability will more.

    • Commercial plots return is better then residential. I will recommend you to go for commercial. Keep in mind it is not confirm booking. It will be draw and success probability will be very low

      I dont think there will be any direct impact on Phase 9 Prism due to this booking. However for a very short time this impact may occur till ballot or first installment.

          Details will be available on 16th of February, 2016. Booking Forms (processing fee, total amount) will be available in DHA Office and all Askari Banks.

    • We might see a little effect on transactions in other Phase 7, 8, 9 and cash payment transaction in Phase 1 to 6 due this launch. But it would not go for long time. People usually forget thing shortly 🙂

    • We are not sure that DHA will offer developed plots or new cutting in the developed area. I don’t think that DHA is following Bahria way. There is big difference in booking procedure of Bahria Town and DHA Lahore. Bahria do not ballot and give confirm booking, mean they book as many as they want. DHA book as per available quantity. Due to limited quantity and access booking, DHA goes for ballot.

  11. What will be booking procedure. Ad says that it will ballot on 17 march. what will be procedure for unsuccessful applicants? I think DHA also garbing people hard money in the Bahria way ;(
