GWADAR, Pakistan :Minister for Education, Zobaida Jalal Friday said Gwadar Port would bring socio-economic changes in the area and improve standard of people’s life. The Port would be ready before stipulated time and would link the land-locked central Asian countries with Pakistan, she said while addressing the inaugural ceremony of Gwadar Port Authority (GPA) Head Office here.
The Minister said government is utilizing all resources for providing quality education and other facilities in the far flung areas and to bring them at par with the developed ones. Zobaida said regular jobs in the project would be offered only after its completion, adding it may take three to four years. However, opportunities would be there for people of the area as soon as the project is operational, she assured.
Zobaida Jalal said there are two ways of development and improvement in quality of life. One is the acquisition of education and the second is infrastructure and facilities, she said.
She also appreciated the organizations working in coordination to complete this mega project in time. Those ceremony was attended by Provincial Ministers, Syed Ehsan Shah, Syed Sher Jan Baloch, Ex-Minister Muhammad Ali Rind, Chairman GDA, Admiral (R) Sarfraz Ahmed Khan and others.
