LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has auctioned 82 commercial and residential plots for Rs 138.4 million in various residential schemes during the last two days.
On Wednesday, 48 plots worth Rs 74.2 million were auctioned that included six commercial plots in various housing schemes as well as 42 residential plots in Sabzazar Scheme.
Among the commercial plots, the highest bid was for plot No 106-G, Block-D, Faisal Town, which was sold at the rate of Rs 1.9 per marla.
Similarly, on Tuesday, 50 plots of Sabzazar Scheme were presented for sale in the auction and 42 plots were sold. The highest bid of Rs 0.484 million per marla was made for plot No 196-D. The auction was held at the LDA community centre, New Muslim Town, under the supervision of members of the auction committee. LDA spokesman said that the per marla price of the plots was fixed by the Pakistan Bank Association-recognised evaluators.
