LAHORE – Lahore Development Authority recovered a sum of Rs 180 million during May on account of annual and permanent commercialisation fee from various localities of the provincial metropolis.
LDA Director Recovery Khwaja Muhammad Ali told that LDA has intensified the ongoing recovery campaign for collecting commercialisation fee from the owners/occupants of such properties that were being used for business purposes in its controlled area. Special recovery teams have been constituted for going door-to-door for collecting commercialisation fee from the defaulters. They were also sealing the properties which fail to pay the dues without serving any further notice to them, he added.
