Lahore: Jinnah Hospital starts free meals for patients
LAHORE: THE Jinnah Hospital here has started providing free breakfast, lunch and dinner to all indoor patients in collaboration with Habib Bank Ltd (HBL) and Bank of Punjab (BoP).
This was stated by Allama Iqbal Medical College Principal Prof Dr Javed Akram while presiding over a meeting, according to a press release here on Friday.
The Jinnah Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Umer Farooq Baloch, Social Welfare Officer Uzma Yousaf and representatives of Habib Bank Ltd and Bank of Punjab were also present on the occasion.
Prof Javed Akram said that practical measures were being taken to facilitate the patients and their attendants besides providing latest healthcare facilities to all visiting and indoor patients.
He urged philanthropists to come forward for the noble cause of the welfare of ailing persons and service to the common people.
