Protesters torch Hangu WAPDA offices

People on Thursday torched the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) offices and five vehicles on the Tull Road during a protest against frequent power cuts. They also set fire to five WAPDA Colony houses and looted 25 others in the area. Police fired gunshots in the air to disperse the protestors and arrested 11 of them. Meanwhile, a bomb exploded in a bakery in Hangu Bazaar. However, no damage to human life was reported.

LCCHS (Lahore Cantt Cooperative Housing Society) was established on 19 March 1975 with the Registrar Coop Punjab.
