In Lahore alone, there is 1,124 acres of land which is occupied by encroachers followed by 253 acres in Peshawar, 51 acres in Rawalpindi, 129 acres in Multan, 257 acres in Sukkur, 145 acres in Karachi and 324 acres in Quetta.
According to experts, if the Pakistan Railways sell off their land after acquiring it again, they can set off their losses borne after December 27.
