ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) hosted an evening with renowned singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan here Sunday at the magnificent Pak-China Friendship Centre. The function was part of the celebrations of the federal capital’s 50 glorious years.
The people attended the live event with their families belonging to various shades in large number. CDA Chairman Imtiaz Inayat Ilahi received the guests as incidentally every guest was declared the ‘chief guest’.
A short documentary was also played before the live performance by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. The documentary highlighted the development of the Capital and its new projects. Bangladesh High Commissioner Sohrab Hussain was also among the guests. The stringent security arrangements were put in place. The guests thoroughly enjoyed the evening and felicitated the CDA chairman on the anniversary of the capital city.
