Dubai Maritime City, part of Maritime World, is participating at the 19th Dubai International Boat Show that is being organized at the Dubai International Marine Club from 1 to 5 March 2011, to showcase its multitude of capabilities.
Dubai Maritime City is a multi-purpose development constituted to address the diverse range of maritime interests in the Middle East, is the umbrella body which oversees the functioning of Jadaf Dubai, Platinum Yachts and Emirates International Maritime Academy.
Dubai Maritime City will be represented at Dubai International Boat Show, the region’s premier maritime event with a specially designed stand C2 that would showcase the entire range of services offered. These include ship repair and maintenance, yacht maintenance, real estate leasing, maritime education and research. The participation precedes the grand opening of Dubai Maritime City.
“Our participation will help us network with like-minded individuals and institutions and build relationships that would help establish the future direction of sustainable growth within the maritime industry. Dubai Maritime City especially is a special initiative to build bridges across different sections of the industry and at various levels of the business to build symbiotic relationships to ensure industry sustenance,” said Khamis Juma Buamim, Chairman of Drydocks World and Maritime World.
The large purpose-built city to bring together all aspects of the maritime sector to create a self-sustained unit that would promote and serve the larger interests of the entire maritime community. Several key industry players are already operating out of the new facility.
