The Dubai Land Department (DLD) will soon launch – Simsari.com – its official property listing website, Emirates 24/7 can reveal.
“The website is ready and will be launched officially in the coming days. Only listed brokers will be allowed to register properties, be it off plan, or completed units for leasing or selling,” Khalifa Al Suwaidi, CEO, Emirates Real Estate Solutions.
“We have tested it in the market… a number of brokers are interested in listing with us and this will help bring transparency in the market since the listing will be authentic.”
The listing on the website is free of charge currently and renewable every 30 days.
Simsari was an online real estate portal which was founded in 2006 by Tamweel and Tejari. The brand has now been acquired by the Dubai Land Department.
Al Suwaidi revealed the they were also working on launching a comprehensive Masaar (progress indicator) website.
“The website is ready for launch… it will offer a lot more information and will help parties get detailed information and data about their projects,” he added.
In February 2009, Real Estate Regulatory Agency announced the launch of Masaar, an online progress monitoring system which was aimed at bringing transparency and trust into the market.
