ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Kamran Lashari on Wednesday said landscaping should be part of residential houses subject to the size of plot, which would be incorporated in residential building by-laws.
According to a CDA press release Lashari said this while addressing a meeting attended by Member Environment Mazhar Hussain, Deputy Director General Environment Suleman Sheikh, Director General Works Abdul Jabbar Molano and other senior officials.
He said Islamabad was one of the beautiful cities in the world by nature and this was our responsibility to preserve lush green environment and a comprehensive plan had been prepared for tree plantation campaign in this regard.
He said that horticulture directorate of environment had been equipped with modern machinery for improvement and beauty of landscaping of Islamabad. He said that students of schools and colleges should also be involved in the plantation campaign.
