LAHORE: City District Nazim Mian Amir Mahmood has announced the start of the construction of a road at a cost of Rs 840 million from General Hospital to Jinnah hospital which would help reduce traffic mess on Ferozepur Road.
According to press statement issued here Wednesday, he was talking to the councillors and Nazims of different towns at Nazim Office Lower Mall. He said that in the first phase the road leading to Model Town Link Road from Jinnah Hospital would be reconstructed and widened. In the second phase, he said, a dual underpass would be constructed near PECCO Factory Railway Crossing ,adding, in the third phase a new road of 3.5 kilometres would be constructed from PECCO Factory to Kachha Link Jail Road.
