LAHORE: The construction of a flyover in Mughalpura will start soon, Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif said on Sunday.
He told the party workers at his Model Town camp office that a hospital would also be constructed in Wahga. The CM, on the complaint of a party worker that a road in Angoory Bagh Scheme had been submerged, ordered the suspension of the town municipal officer (TMO) concerned.
However, when the TMO concerned requested for three days to address the complaint, the CM granted his request.
He suspended officials responsible for not covering the manholes in Mujahidabad and Dharampura.
He also announced that the girls’ middle school at Faisal Park, Mughalpura, would be upgraded to a high school. A maternity home would also be set up in Dharampura, he added.
Shahbaz said the government was trying to ensure that flour was supplied at fixed rates across the province. staff report
