ISLAMABAD: Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Imtiaz Inayat Elahi chaired the CDA board meeting on Thursday and, besides other decisions, the meeting renamed the Service Road West Sector F-10 Ahmed Faraz Road, honoring his services for Urdu literature. He, according to the sources, was raged when a file to redesignate the post of Director Security Abdul Razaq as DDG Security (BS-19) along with a financial incentive of Rs 2000 per month was presented to him during the meeting and instructed not to propose such an incentive for the guzzeted officers as the authority could not afford that in times of financial crunch. However, he ordered to arrange funds for the over time allowance of non-guzzeted employees.
Board also decided to allocate a plot for the grid station in F-9 Park. The station will meet the electricity requirement of the Blue Area, F-8, G-8, F-9, G-9, and F-9 Park. Another plot was allotted for the construction of Gilgit-Baltistan Council. The agenda items on which administrative actions were required were deferred including extension of administrative support to Law Directorate, enabling it to dispose of cases relating to CDA’s valuable properties, absorption of Dr Fazal Majeed, Medical Officer Health Department, Government of KP, Peshawar against the post of Medical Officer (BS-17), Capital Hospital, and allotting agro plots to the affectees.
