AN Indian delegation, headed by Gurukul University Vice Chancellor Prof Swatantra Kumar, called on Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran in his office on Tuesday.
Both the sides emphasized the academic, cultural and economic collaboration between Pakistan and India. The PU VC briefed the delegation about various departments including Law College and Hailey College of Banking & Finance (HCBF). The delegation was told that most of the judges of the Supreme Court and Lahore High Court were graduates of PU Law College. The Indian team specially took interest in the issue of the judicial activism in Pakistan. Dr Mujahid Kamran also briefed the delegation about the faculty development programme.
The other members included Advocate Vimal Wadhawan and Viashpall, an educationist from Hiryana. PU Law College Incharge Principal Shazia Noreen Qureshi, Sami Ozhair and Aman Ullah Malik were also present.
