Islamabad—Capital Development Authority (CDA) has finalized all the arrangements for auction of the commercial plots wrapping total of 4355.54 square yards land in Marakiz of the different sectors.
On the directions of Chairman CDA Imtiaz inayat Elahi the auction would schedule to be held on 21st July here at a local hotel.
CDA spokesperson Ramzan Sajid told that a high-level meeting to review progress on arrangements for auction of commercial plots was held here on Monday at CDA Headquarters. Chairman CDA, Imtiaz Inayat Elahi presided the meeting. Board Members of CDA and officers of the concerned formations of the Authority were also present on the occasion.
“Islamabad is the only planned city of the country where the people from other cities desired for accommodations, whereas people from business community also want to have their business settled in this peaceful city,” said the Chairman CDA. This auction would also enhance business and investment activities in the capital city, added the Chairman.
The auction committee comprising Member Finance, Saeed-ur-Rehman (being its head), Member Planning & Design, Tahir Shamshad, Member Estate, Khalid Mirza, Director Estate Management-I, Director Estate Management-II, Director One Window Operation, Deputy Financial Advisor and Director Public Relations, which would ensure smooth execution of auction process.
On the direction of Chairman CDA, the committee would submit its recommendations regarding auction of commercial plot to the CDA Board for final approval.
The Chairman lauded that full-fledged advertisement for auction of commercial plots has been released in the national media for information of the public, while advertisement would also be telecasted on prominent TV Channels to ensure maximum participation of interested people from across the country.
The Chairman further apprised that CDA would offer commercial plots of different sizes in Marakiz of different sectors in the capital city. That may include, as per Chairman CDA, plot measuring 711.11 square yards in Markaz F-6, plot measuring 355.55 square yards in Markaz F-7, Plot measuring 666.66 square yards in Markaz F-8, plot measuring 844.44 square yards in Markaz F-11 and Plot measuring 1777.78 square yards in Markaz G-11.
The Chairman added a commercial plot measuring 1777.78 square yards situated in Markaz F-11 would also be offered for auction for establishment of hospital. Moreover, the brochures for auction of commercial plots would available at One Window Operation in CDA Headquarters with all necessary information as well as terms and conditions.
