ISLAMABAD, Jul 24 (APP): Citizens can apply for the newly launched housing scheme Park Enclave ‘Jewel of Islamabad’ by Capital Development Authority (CDA) till July 30.The housing scheme is the first of its kind gated community designed to change the concept of luxurious living and located near Chak Shehzad at the intersection of Park road and Kurri road, four kilometre away from Islamabad Club.The enclave has convenient access from Kashmir Highway, Lehtrar road and Islamabad Highway. The size of residential plot in the housing scheme is 50×90 and 75×60.For the first time, CDA has specified 60 per cent area for natural landscaping and community service infrastructure.
Talking to APP, an official of CDA said Park Enclave is the one and only approved housing scheme at Park road in Zone IV and there is no housing scheme within a radius of 4 kilometre.
Around 3000-4000 forms has been sold so far and it shows people’ interest in the new housing scheme announced after 20 years.
A contract of Rs one billion will be awarded to a construction company for which pre-qualification criteria will be notified through print media till July 25.
The official said the allotees will have to pay 10 per cent down payment while the remaining amount will be payable in 16 months and possession will be given before paying the last installment.
The development work has been started at the site, a road of 150 feet each will be constructed from Park road to the Park Enclave and from Kurri road to the enclave.
The details of the project are also available at CDA’s website www.cda.gov.pk, however, brochures with applications forms are available at designated branches of Askari Bank and Muslim Commercial Bank and Bank Alfalah.
The overseas Pakistanis can download the form and also get details of the project from CDA website.
The cost of a plot in Park Enclave is 12,000,000 which will be payable in easy installments. The applicant will have to pay only 10 per cent down payment at the time of the submission of the application forms.
The remaining amount will be payable on easy terms through installments; 15 percent within one month of the date of issuance of allotment letter, then 15 percent after every three months or at the time of handing over of possession.
In case any party/person is interested in full payment i.e. Rs 12,000,000 net rebate of 5 percent on the total amount would be given.

Other facilities include positive energy waste treatment plant, treated effluent for gardening and road washing, rainwater harvesting for flushing toilets and broadband optical fiber network.
However, lush green parks, children playland, cricket stadium with athletic tracks, sports grounds with jogging tracks, club house swimming pool, squash, tennis, badminton courts and gym as well as school, mosques and zero or low emission houses offering lifestyle even better than the posh sectors of Islamabad.
