Islamabad: Under the banner of its brand Evo Nitro Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd (PTCL) in collaboration with High Performance Racing (HPR) brings the drag racing competition for all avid car racers.
The Evo Nitro Speed Quest drag race is scheduled to be held on Dec 5 (today) in Bahria Town Phase 8, where racers from all over the country would participate. In this legal car racing event participants will have a chance to race head-to-head in a secure and professional environment with the facilities of ambulance, fire brigade available in case any need arises.
The event has been segregated into different categories depending upon car specifications. So that each car would compete against its own type and would be fairly determined which is the fastest and who the better driver is. Such arrangement has been made to give every participant a fair chance and give winner a real sense of accomplishment.
SEVP Commercial Naveed Saeed stated that this is event a very encouraging initiative that has been taken not only to bring forward the best racing talent in Pakistan but also to provide car, racers a secure platform to participate at a competitive level in their favorite sport. We are a country with immense talent in car racing, it just needs to be guided and encouraged properly through a professional platform. And we intend to provide that to the car racers. Motor sport is one of the most prominent and highly acclaimed sports worldwide and but unfortunately it has not been given its due share in Pakistan because of lack of proper venues and guidance. By holding this event, our aim is not only to create awareness among masses but also take the game to an altogether new level in the country.
He added that we plan to make this a yearly event not only to encourage people to prepare and participate in it but also to give the due appreciation and acknowledgement to the hidden talent of our country.
