Islamabad—The project of modern slaughter house in H-9 sector in the federal capital has been delayed on the pretext that Capital Development Authority (CDA) was facing severe financial crisis currently.
According to details, CDA had allotted 20 acres land for the construction to modern slaughter house in H-9 sector and the PC-1 of the project was also sent to the development working committee of the CDA for approval. However, Chairman CDA Farkhand Iqbal did not give approval of the project, saying that CDA was has been facing financial crisis. Currently, the project of public interest was not essential to be approved, chairman CDA added.
Moreover, he hoped that CDA’s financial crisis will be overcome by April this year and then the project will be launched. Experts told INP that by delaying construction work on the project.
