LAHORE: Besides initiating action against illegal encroachments, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has launched an operation against 103 illegal residential housing schemes in the city in order to save the citizens from the looters.
In this regard, the LDA officials demolished site office and wall of an illegal housing scheme ‘Doctor’s Society’ located near Thokar Niaz Beg.
Meanwhile, the officials of the Estate Management Directorate have completed a survey of illegally constructed buildings in Johar Town, Gulshan-e-Ravi, Sabzazar, and Allama Iqbal Town and have issued notices to the owners.
DG issue orders: Director General Lahore Development Authority Irfan Ali has issued orders regarding verification of the status of the residents of Katchiabadis before issuing registries to them. He said the ownership rights should be given to deserving people.
DG LDA visit: The DG paid a visit to LDA complex and examined the working of various departments. He directed the officials to provide relief to the masses.
