LDA auctioned 8 plots

LAHORE – A total of eight plots, including two commercial as well as six residential chunks of land situated in various housing schemes of LDA were auctioned against a sum of Rs 41.79 million by the Lahore Development Authority on Thursday.

Open auction of 24 residential and 11 commercial plots of different housing schemes was held in LDA Community Centre, 239-A, New Muslim Town.

Auction Committee of LDA comprising of Director Finance, Director Estate Management and Director Land Development.

LDA conducted the auction which was actively participated by the people.

Per marla base price of these plots had been estimated by the approved Evaluators of the State Bank of Pakistan.

For commercial plots, maximum bid was offered for plot No 305/28 block H3, Johar Town, measuring 250.9 square meters. It was auctioned against Rs 11 lakhs 20 thousand per marla where as its base price had been evaluated as Rs. 11 lakh 10 thousand per marla.

Minimum bid was offered for plot No 305/26 block H3, Johar Town, measuring 250.9 square meters. It was auctioned against Rs 11 lakh and 16 thousand per marla where as its base price had been evaluated as Rs. 11 lakh and 10 thousand per marla.

For residential plots, maximum bid was offered for plot No 255-E block P, Sabazazar, measuring 114 square meters. It was auctioned against Rs Four lakh 31 thousand per marla whereas its base price had been evaluated as Rs Three lakh 85 thousand per marla.

Minimum bid was offered for plot No 721 block D, Sabazazar, measuring 209.26 square meters. It was auctioned against Rs two lakh and 84 thousand per marla whereas its base price had been evaluated as Rs two lakh and 80 thousand per marla.

Other plots were also sold the price higher than the base price. Auction of remaining plots had to be postponed because no bid was offered for them.
