District Nazim Mian Amer Mehmood has ordered that the ownership of land acquired from private parties for the construction of the Lahore Development Authority”s (LDA) residential schemes should be transferred to the LDA.
Chairing a meeting held to review the pace of development work of new LDA housing societies, he ordered further that all complaints regarding incomplete infrastructure and basic utilities at privately developed housing societies should be submitted to the office of the district coordination officer. He said that the city government had planned to introduce two new housing schemes at Raiwind and Ferozepur Road the city government would acquire 25,000 and 50,000 kanals of land.
