LAHORE: The Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) ended on a bearish note on Monday. The LSE 25-shares index finished at 2,386.96, losing 31.47 points as on last Thursday market was closed at the level of 2,418.43 points. The volume of market remained at 10.99 million shares, 3.34 million less than Thursday’s turnover of 14.34 million shares. Royal Bank of Scotland was the major gainer, added Rs 1.16 to close at Rs 24.36 against its opening at Rs 23.20. Kot Addu Power Co ended at second place adding Rs 0.92 to close at 47.28 against its opening at Rs 46.36. Packages Limited was among the major loser, as it lost Rs 7.71 to close at 160.52 against its opening at Rs 168.23. Attock Refinery Limited also lost Rs 7.61, as it was opened at Rs 152.27 and closed at Rs 144.66. DG Khan Cement Company was among the volume leaders; with 1.641 million shares losing Rs 1.86 to close at Rs 35.36 against it’s opening at Rs 37.22. Arif Habib Securities Limited with 0.90 million shares was at second place, losing Rs 1.65 to close at Rs 31.45 against its opening at Rs 33.10.
