The idea of establishing Defence Housing Authority Peshawar  was  conceived in  the year 2007. The ensuing  period saw  the processes  of thorough deliberations, identification and selection of  number of sites, legalities, the legislative  necessities and acquisition  of land. DHA Peshawar is a  statutory  body  formed  under  an Act  of KPK &  called  as  DHA Peshawar Act 2009. With firm legal and legislative grounding, the Authority embarked upon the task of providing a sustainable, healthy and first of its kind housing society for the population of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This housing society is going to take off with remarkable planning and meticulous urban development, will  ultimately  evolve as the  largest  and leading residential estate of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa.

      At the moment amenities are not shown in any where in current map. We need to wait for the next detailed map. At the moment there is no confirm date for Sector F and G development. Please contact DHA Peshawar directly for accurate information.

  2. DHA Peshawar Discount Offer

    DHA Peshawar is glad to inform that 5% discount will be given to lump sum payment by customers having minimum balance payable of 40% of total dues on Development/Installment

    It is heartening to inform our esteemed customers that DHA Peshawar has extended due date for submission of development charges from 10 Feb 2018 to 10 Mar 2018.

    The date is extended due to non receipt of development charges schedule by many of our respected customers because of various reasons.

      Dear Atif Iqbal Sb

      please share your expert opinion on how long it takes by DHA to develop and deliver one phase ready for possession and houses construction.

      on ground there is no development activity in DHA peshawar right now not even in sector A and B. The project is already late in all respects from the time of launch. Can it be completed in 4 to 5 years (which seems almost impossible). If I pay all development charges it seems like blocking a very huge amount for an indefinite period and my incur loss.

      please share your experience.

      • Dear Shahid Bhai,

        We know DHA booked plots on 3 years installment plan. In DHA Peshawar we witness balloting of plots on 6 installment of cost of land. Usually DHA do ballot after completion of cost of land and then start development charges on installment plan of 3 years. So we can say usually project time is 6 years. 3 years cost of land and 3 years for development charges. But we know that now development charges also started by DHA Peshawar because ballot is done and development work initiated. In my opinion it may take 3 to 4 years to be develop for the sectors where development is started. I think we should avoid buying installment plan project if we cannot wait for the time till delivery. Although if development is delayed by developer then it is not buyer fault at all. But it is suggested to buy a developed possession plot in such case. Rest developer can give a better idea for the time of delivery. You are requested to please contact DHA Peshawar directly for the status of development work and completion time frame, only developer can give your exact and accurate answer.     Dear Atif bhai, i have a one kanal installment file in DHA Peshawar. i purchased it in Jan 2017, however I am unable to pay the installments since then, 4 installments are due. Is DHA charging surcharge on due installments. How to know about the total dues payable to date? If I decide to pay all the installments in lumpsum, will I get a discount. I’ll appreciate your reply to my queries. Thanks and best regards.

      For fine details you need to contact DHA Peshawar directly. As per my infomraiton DHA did not imposed fine for the few initial months. I am not sure about today. You are requested to contact DHA Peshawar directly for further assistance.

    Atif Bhai, what do you mean by possession? I mean abhi ballot ke baad kiya process hai? I know development charges hain..phir us ke baad?

    When dust settles then please comment on growth prospects for Sector A, B and C.

    Also please comment on value (and growth prospects) of following plot categories in Sector A, B and C:

    * An average plot
    * Corner plot
    * Main boulevard plot
    * Plot lying on sector road (80-feet). I think in sector maps, sector roads are depicted as green lines.
    * Plots in central area of sector.
    * Etc. Etc.

      Currently Development work awarded for Sector A and B only. As per DHA Facebook page once development work will be started for other sectors, they will issue detail map for these sectors. In my opinion it may take time.

  10. DHA Peshawar sign MoU with FWO and NLC for Development of Sector A and B

    The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between FWO and DHA Peshawar was held at Headquarter 11 corps on 11 December 2017. The MoU was signed by FWO Brig Ashfaq Maitla and Administrator DHA Peshawar Brig M. Riaz Ahmad. The other participants of the ceremony were, Corps Commander 11 Corp Lt Gen Nazir Ahmed Butt, DG FWO Lt Gen Muhammad Afzal and DG NLC Maj General Mushtaq Ahmed Faisal.

    The scope of the work includes road work, water supply, sewerage drain, footpaths and overhead water tank of Sector-A DHA Peshawar. The Development work on the project is likely to start by 25 Dec 2017 and will be completed in 2 years.

    Salient Features of DHAP

    • Every Sector is of about 1 Km square size with Neighbourhood facilities in Centre which are within walking distance.
    • Every Sec has school for kids, mosque, Minimart and Water Sup system.
    • Separate Sectors for larger (1 Kanal) and smaller plot sizes.
