Lahore December 08, 2014: Handing over possession of more than seven thousand clear plots of LDA Avenue-I Housing Scheme to their owners has been started by Lahore Development Authority and intimation letters have been sent to more than six thousand proprietor for this purpose. The remaining plot owners will also be informed very soon.

These plots have been carved out on the 69 per cent clear area of LDA Avenue-I Housing Scheme and 100 per cent development works including electrification, construction of roads, provision of water supply and sewerage systems and other allied services have been completed in the clear area.

On the directives of Director General Lahore Development Authority a special section has been set up at the One Window Cell of LDA at its office at Johar Town where all the proceedings for handing over possession were being completed under one roof within one day only. For physical demarcation of plots on land, a site office has also been established in the scheme where essential staff has also been deputed besides provision of necessary facilities and making ample sitting arrangement.

LDA staff has retrieved more than 1600 kanals of land, falling within the scheme, from illegal occupation of land grabbers and encroachers during the past few months where more than 1300 plots have been created. Development works have also been started for these newly carved out plots.

Physical possession of clear plots to their owners/ allottees is being furnished block-wise. Lahore Development Authority has uploaded lists of clear plots on its website www.lda.gop.pk. Allottees/owners of plots have been advised to verify their plot numbers from LDA’s website after receiving notices in this regard sent through post by LDA.

Allottees/ owners have been asked to personally come at 1st floor of LDA’s One Window Cell at 467-D-II, Main Boulevard, M.A Johar Town, Lahore, where all the procedural formalities for this purpose are being completed in just one day. Then they are invited to the site office situated in the scheme at Raiwind Road, Lahore, for awarding physical possession of plots to them.
