LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Corruption case worth Rs. 16 billion in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Lahore has on Friday been referred to National Accountability Bureau (NAB). Bank accounts of the suspects have been frozen while the name of the prime suspect has been added to the Exit Control List (ECL), reported Dunya News.
According to details, the case has been referred to NAB and 1-day remand of the prime suspect Hammad Arshad has also been obtained. Former army chief’s brother Kamran Kiyani has also been named among the suspects.
NAB Director General (DG) Punjab has said that investigations will be carried out according to the law, no matter whether the suspects are civilians or from military. He said that the investigations have been broadened after the revelations made regarding Kamran Kiyani. Extended physical remand of Hammad Arshad will also be demanded, he said.
