ISLAMABAD: Citizens have protested against in three-fold increase by the CDA in transfer fee of plots terming it a tyrannical order.
The CDA has increased the transfer fee 3 times without seeking the opinion of the general public which is arbitrary act, said Ghulam Hussain, a citizen.
CDA has even violated the orders of Prime Minister and CDA board has accorded approval to massive increase in the fee, said Ali Akbar, a citizen.
CDA has increased transfer fee from Rs 5000 to Rs 10000 and Rs 15000 which is beyond our approach. In the same vein urgent transfer fee of the plots of 600 square yards has been jacked up to Rs 20000. This is sheer injustice , said Ishrat Ali, a citizen.
The citizens demanded immediate withdrawal of this mammoth enhancement of fee otherwise they will be forced to come on the roads.
