LAHORE: About 584,650 patients were provided free treatment, including major surgical operations, during the last six year at Sugra Shafi medical complex Narowal, said ‘Sahara For Life Trust’ Chairman Abrarul Haq in a press release on Tuesday. He said that about 93 percent patients suffering from different diseases were being provided free medical treatment on daily basis in the hospital. The total monthly expenditure of the hospital has exceeded Rs 10 million, he said.
The Sahara Trust is also registered with the United Nations (UN), PCP in UK and USA, while it has the affiliation with PMDC, he said. Abrarul Haq said that his non-profit organization played important a role in the rehabilitation of 2005 earthquake’s affectees as well as the Swat IDPs.
