The high standards and quality of Bahria Town developments have been internationally acknowledged in an article of the Newsweek, Feb. 26 – March 03, 2008 issue. The Newsweek article introduces Bahria Town as a community “nestled in an idyllic neighborhood where children play in the streets and homeowners stroll to the local health club or mini-mart, the park and its manicured grass overlook a sliver a vast gated residential development of the sort you might see in southern California.”
The article describes Bahria Town, largest private development in Asia, as a master piece, result of the vision of its CEO Malik Riaz Hussain, which has turned the company into a $6 billion asset. Article acknowledges that Bahria Town has set the industry benchmark for the real estate sector in Pakistan. The article further highlights that “the security and serenity that Bahria Town provides” “draws Pakistani expats and wealthy Arab Muslims away from places like Dubai.”
Bahria Town spokesperson said “Article by an independent international credible magazine is a testimony to our achievements, our contribution to the national economy and a reiteration to our customers on our capability to continue to deliver world class master planned communities.”
The article compliments the latest facilities being provided to Bahria Town residents as “amenities (24-hour armed security, schools, hospitals, a fire department, retail shopping, restaurants and entertainment centers) that go above and beyond those in many of the gated communities that have become so popular in countries from the United States to Brazil.”
