ISLAMABAD: Company Director Law Division, Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Nazir Ahmed Shaheen told this scribe that Bahria Town (PVT) limited was registered with the SECP under the 1984 Companies Ordinance, having registered office at Bahria Town, Phase 1, Rawalpindi. He said they did not have so much member force or strength to take action against unauthorized projects. He said monitoring and regulating housing schemes was also responsibility of the relevant development authorities, which grant NOC for development/construction to such schemes. In this case, if the company has not obtained an NOC from the CDA, the CDA should initiate action against it.
