DHA Gujranwala has imposed charges on cancellation of intimation letter.
- No charges if the file owner applies for cancellation within 10 days of issuance.
- Plot cancellation after 10 days but within 45 days of the issuance date will be charged with PKR 10,000 for all plot sizes.
- Cancellation after 45 days of the issuance date will require personal appearance of file owner. The charges are as follows:
- 2 Kanal @ Rs. 400,000
- 1 Kanal @ Rs. 200,000
- 10 Marlas @ Rs. 100,000
- 8 Marlas @ Rs. 80,000
- 5 Marlas @ Rs. 50,000
A file processing fee of PKR 6,500 will be charged for all applications.

why would people want to Cancel? and not sell the file to somone who needs it?
maybe unable to sell , just guessing
