PUNJAB Minister for Population Welfare Neelam Jabbar Ch said the government had established 104 Reproductive Health Services-A centers.
She said these centers would be increased up to 130 whereas at present 53 non-development reproductive health services-B centers were registered with the Population Welfare Department and, during the next plan, the number of RHS-B centers would also be increased.
She said the government had initiated reproductive health project with the assistance of Asian Development Bank (ADP). “This project aims at improving reproductive health services by enhancing skills of doctors as well as paramedics and through upgrade of operation theatres, recovery rooms, labour rooms, public health schools and midwifery schools,
