LAHORE: Federal Minister for Human Rights Mumtaz Alam Gilani has said the government will review the blasphemy laws, Dunya TV reported on Sunday. According to the channel, Gilani told reporters the ministries of Law, Interior and Human Rights would collectively pen a draft reviewing the blasphemy laws. Earlier, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani had hinted at a review of the blasphemy law, and had said that a committee would discuss “laws detrimental to religious harmony” and work on improving them.
