ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Tariq Mehmood Khan on Saturday directed that the people allotted plots in Sector I-11 be given their possession within 45 days.

In a meeting with a delegation of ‘Allotees Welfare Society’, the chairman issued directives that illegal occupants of Sector I-11 plots be immediately pushed out and plots be put in possession of those who had been legally allotted them. The chairman was informed that legal owners of the plots had not been given possession of their plots for the last 20 years, which was unjust.

The delegation requested the chairman to resolve this issue so that the plot owners could build their houses. Tariq Mehmood Malik, president of the welfare society, Malik Din Muhammad, vice president, Muhammad Shabbir, general secretary, Muhammad Mumtaz, joint secretary, Bahadur Shah, information secretary and Muhammad Fayyaz, finance secretary were part of the delegation.
