Sector I-15 is still waiting for the commencement of development work in the sector owing to the alleged negligence and faulty planning of the Capital Development Authority (CDA).

The CDA had awarded the development contract worth Rs 1.15 billion to a firm about six months ago and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz had inaugurated the development work.

The sector consists of about 6,000 plots and 8,000 flats. The company was supposed to construct roads, drainage systems etc but it has so far not even set up its site office. The residents of the sector have demanded the prime minister and Interior Minister Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao repeal the current contract and award it to a new firm so that the development work in the sector can begin.
