ISLAMABAD: President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) Muhammad Ijaz Abbassi, in a meeting with Hamid Ali Khan, Chief Commissioner of Islamabad emphasized for the revival of one-third of registration charges on transfer of property on gifting to the blood relations, which is now being transferred at full charges.
He stressed the commissioner for restoration of previous law in this respect.
President ICCI said that there is no promulgation of Rent Control Act in Islamabad as a result there is a difficulty in settling the disputes between the owners and tenants of the property.
He said that suggestions were submitted with respect to Rent Control Act, which should be implemented in letter and spirit that will help both owners and tenants a great deal in resolution of disputes.
He said that ICCI is pursuing CDA for the establishment of new industrial estate at sector I-17 because the current industrial areas at I-9 & I-10 have completely saturated.
