A labourer in his individual capacity on May 1 protested against the atrocities of the authorities concerned who take action against those workers who go to Gwadar to explore job opportunities there.
Imam Bukhsh told this reporter that the number of jobless people countywide were now visiting Gwadar to look for livelihood. He said as soon as they reached Gwadar they fell victim of the cruelties of authorities concerned.
He said maximum efforts were being made Gwadar a No-Go area for the workers who did not belong to the district. He alleged that FIA arrest such people and keep them in the Passport Cell which is no less than a torture cell.
He said these people become victim of severe torture there. He said these people are usually charged with the allegation that they crossed the border illegally. Whereas, Imam Bukhsh said the boarder is more than 100 kilometres away.
