KARACHI :A great breakthrough was made with revival of Creek View and Terraces residential project, part of DHA Creek City, after formalisation of arrangements reached between DHA and AKD (Messrs Aqeel Karim Dhedhi) in the wake of the ongoing economic recession and market slum conditions in the country.

A DHA statement issued here on Tuesday said that a ‘Document of Understanding’ was signed between DHA and AKD in a ceremony held at DHA Main Office to formalise the master plan and related arrangements of the project.

It said that the prestigious project is a milestone achievement which will give a boost and resurge to the unfolding economic regression and the market downslide in the country. The statement said that the document was signed in the presence of Administrator DHA, Brig Khalid Tirmizi and Adil Jilani, Chairman Transparency International.

It said that the new found initiative is in accordance with the vision of Corps Commander and President Executive Board DHA, Lt. Gen. Shahid Iqbal, envisaging revival of the stalled DHA waterfront development projects through a realistic, pragmatic and forward looking approach. The statement further pointed out that the prestigious Creek View and Terraces is an upper end condominium projects located contagious to Creek Vistas project in DHA Phase-VIII which has recently been completed.

The project had become almost a dead venture in the backdrop of ongoing economic scenario in the country. The residential project however got a boost and a new lease of life with the inking of the document of understanding.
