DIRECTOR General Lahore Development Authority, Omer Rasool, held three open courts at public dealing offices of LDA situated at Court Street, Township and Johar Town here on Monday.

He entertained hundreds of applicants at these places and ensured on the spot action. The DG visited LDA Complex, Court Street at 8 am, LDA Township office at 10 am and finally LDA Johar Town office at about 12 noon where he listened to the complaints until 4 pm.

The DG asked all the directors to ensure proper working of their subordinates and not to spare negligent ones because delay in providing relief to the people would not be tolerated. He said applications received at the One Window Cell of LDA should be disposed of at the earliest and the applicants informed at once about the requirements to be fulfilled instead of bothering them with trivial objections.

“Applications received at the One Window Operation must be thoroughly checked and the applicants should be informed about the documents and dues to be deposited along with these applications at once”, he said.
