LAHORE: The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) is organising a two-day Women Business Fair, beginning on June 23.
The fair is being held in connection with the second anniversary of the Women Business Incubation Centre (WBIC), said Organising Committee Convener Liaqat Ali Gohar and WBIC Project Director Aisha Amjad in a joint statement. Business women had given a good response to the fair and booked a large number of stalls to display their products, they said.
Responding to the demand of women entrepreneurs, the organising committee had expanded the stalls, they said and added bookings made so far for display of products included garments, jewellery, perfumes and home decoration items. Different events like magic show, puppet show, face painting and lucky draws would be part of the fair for family entertainment, they said.
The SMEDA will deposit the whole amount collected as stall fee in the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for victims of terrorism.
