LAHORE (January 20, 2011) : The Director Land Development IV of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has termed bogus the exemption proceedings on five property files of Gujjarpura Scheme and declared allocation of 26 plots as void ab initio. According to a LDA’s spokesman here on Wednesday, these plots include four plots each measuring one kanal, 17 plots each of 10 marlas, two plots each of five marlas and three plots of two and a half marlas.

The cancelled plots are 91, 92, 101, 154 in Block A-I (measuring 420 square meters each) and 1536 in Block A-II (measuring 105 square meters) of file number GP/BL/25+A+B+C+D. Moreover, plot numbers 1469, 1470 and 1471 in Block B-II (measuring 10 marla each) and 1247 in Block A-II (measuring 5 marla) of file number GP/BL/26E-F-G-H has also been cancelled.

Also, other cancelled plots are 807, 808 and in 810 Block B-I, 25 in Block A-II (measuring 10 marla each) and 1141 in Block D-I (measuring 2-1/2 marla) of file number GP/BL/27+A+C+D. Moreover, the following plots also stand cancelled: 35, 36, 37 and 38 in Block A-II (measuring 10 marla each) and 113 in Block D-II (measuring 2-1/2 marla) of file number GP/BL/28-B; and 291, 292, 337 and 337-A in Block A-I (measuring 210 square meters each), 400 and 401 in Block B-I (measuring 210 square meters each) and 590-A in Block A-II (measuring 50 210 square meters each) of file number GP/BL/33-F.
