LAHORE, June 19: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has directed the City District Government Lahore and LDA to generate their own resources for development projects in the provincial metropolis.

He was addressing a meeting during his visit to Kalma Chowk Project here on Sunday, says a

The chief minister directed the commissioner, district coordination
officer and the LDA director-general to evolve a comprehensive strategy for generating resources for provision of basic amenities to people.

He asked the officials to complete projects like Kalma Chowk underpass, Lahore Canal flyover and other projects with these resources.

DCO Ahad Cheema told the chief minister that additional resources were being generated for completion of Kalma Chowk underpass, Lahore Canal flyover and other projects.
