LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Khawaja Muhammad Sharif has disposed of a suo motu case against a blunder committed by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore in preparing the Intermediate 2009 examination results, thereby depriving a student of his third position.
On Tuesday, a board official informed the court that the officials responsible for this blunder were taken to task and the deserving student had been awarded his rightful position. According to details, a student Mohsin Hassan obtained 915 marks in the Intermediate (Commerce Group) examinations, but another student Syed Hassan Raza Kazmi who got 914 marks was awarded the third position instead.
