LAHORE: The city government will construct a multipurpose community centre, first of its kind by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) in the city.

The centre will be constructed in New Muslim Town with Rs 35 million, said district nazim Mian Amer Mehmood while talking to a delegation of the area who called on him on Saturday.

Mehmood said people would be able to hold social functions like weddings at the centre. “Indoor-game facility will also be provided at the centre,” he said. He said parking would be constructed in the basement of the air-conditioned centre. staff report
