Bahria Town, Asia “s leading”s property developer, welcomed the Chief Minister Punjab Mr. Parvaiz Elahi on 20 th November 2006. He was accompanied by Provincial Law Minister Muhammad Basharat Raj and former NA deputy speaker Haji Muhammad Nawaz Khokhar. CM Punjab inaugurated the customer support centre in Phase-I, Bahria Town Islamabad where he was surprised to find out Bahria Town is the only property developer empowered with the Enterprise Resource Planning; he was then briefed on the company”s portfolio of prestigious projects such as Meadows, Bahria Homes, Safari Villas, Bahria Heights and Phases 1-6; he was amazed that so much has been delivered by Bahria Town in a decade only. This was followed by a trip to the company”s on-going developments including Phase 8 & 9, Springs, Garden City, Overseas Enclave and Golf City . Chief Minister was genuinely astounded by the scale, quality, rate of progress, logistical requirements and dynamics of the development taking place.

On his visit, he was also very greatly impressed by the unique Bahria Town ideology “City within a City ” i.e., providing all allied facilities including schools, hospitals, commercial areas, post offices, security and maintenance services to its residents before the completion of the project itself. He was also impressed by the provision of the recreational and leisure facilities, an exclusive concept so far only limited to Bahria Town communities. These facilities include 18 hole PGA standard golf course, formula one mini racing track, mini golf course, restaurants, zoo, horse riding club and Safari Club with gym, swimming pool tennis, basket ball and squash courts.

CEO Bahria Town Mr. Malik Riaz said: “We are honored that the Chief Minister has showed such keen interest in Bahria Town and has acknowledged Bahria Town “s contribution to the real estate sector in Pakistan .”
