LAHORE: Oil marketing companies (OMCs) are not supplying fuel according to the demand in different parts of the country, Petroleum Dealers Association (PDA) Chairman Abdul Sami Khan said on Tuesday, according to a private TV channel.
Talking to the channel, he said fuel stations were being delivered 60 to 70 percent less fuel than demand in different parts of Punjab including Mianwali, Sargodha and Multan and consequently many petrol pumps had run short of fuel. He said Gilgit was also facing a shortage of fuel supply.
Commenting on the allegations of the PDA, a spokesman from the OMCs said there was no break in the supply of fuel in any part of the country.
