Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has decided to fill 35 posts of Grade-1 to 15 on temporary basis, aiming to lessen the shortage of staff, and the Punjab government while approving the RDA recommendations allowed it to make recruitments.

According to sources, more than 35 vacancies were lying vacant since long and officials of RDA requested to the provincial government to fill these posts.

The 35 vacant posts to be filled included one post of chief engineer, one director engineer, two deputy director engineers, two assistant director engineers, two assistant directors town planning, one assistant director finance, one PA, two assistants, one quantity surveyor, one surveyor civil, four sub-engineers (civil), one sub-engineer (electrical), one accounts works, one draftsman AutoCAD, four surveyor bailers, one superintendent, one computer operator, one record keeper, three naib qasids and three guards.

Sources informed that these 35 posts would be recruited on contract basis in the next few days and applications are being sought from desirable persons – male and female.
