ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority(CDA) has decided to give a seven-day deadline to land encroachers for vacating the encroached lands of the civic authority.

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) seems serious in chalking out a strategy to get thousands of acres of acquired land released from the adverse possession and go about developing the city with an improved pace.

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Board on Tuesday approved widely publicising its intentions to take over the land the CDA had acquired back in 1960s for developing the federal capital in line with the directions issued by Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
