GWADAR: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz said Saturday that the federal government is spending a record 134 billion rupees on mega projects for development in Makran and Gwadar.
Speaking after the groundbreaking ceremony for a civic centre and industrial zone in Gwadar, Aziz said Rs 134 billion development projects had been announced for Balochistan, and an oil refinery would also be established.
He said an international airport would also be established in Gwadar. He announced government would provide flour at cheap rates in Gwadar during Holy month of Ramazan from its departmental store.
Governor Balochistan Owais Ahmed Ghani, Chief Minister Jam Mohammad Yousuf, federal and provincial ministers and others welcomed him at Gwadar Airport.
